She had dreamed of it as a child , her eyes raised to the screen, her heart beating to the rhythm of the heroic breakaways: one day, she too would wear this yellow jersey at the summit of the Tour. That day has arrived. Pauline Ferrand-Prévot has conquered what she had always been waiting for – not a simple trophy, but the pure accomplishment of a patiently built destiny. By triumphing in the 2025 Tour de France Femmes, Sunday, August 3, in Châtel (Haute-Savoie), the Frenchwoman wrote one of the last lines of a dizzying list of achievements.

World champion on the road (2014), in cyclo-cross (2015), in cross-country mountain biking (2015, 2019, 2020, 2022 and 2023), in short-track (2022 and 2023) and in gravel , a discipline which consists of riding mainly on unpaved roads (2022), Olympic champion in cross-country mountain biking (2024), winner of Paris-Roubaix in April, the Champenoise has already conquered almost everything. "The Games were really the victory I wanted the most to say that my career was complete, while the Tour was not an obligation," she repeated, Sunday, after her coronation.
